So many students are busier than ever these days with after school activities, sports, and social events. Kids face so many distractions these days.  Keep them on the right track by removing their study time from high traffic areas like the kitchen table or living room.  Set them up in a “quiet zone” where they can easily concentrate on homework.  Other family members should be respectful to a student’s study time which should always be TV and cell phone free.

Less is More

A clean and clutter-free workspace is essential.  Make sure that needed office supplies are close at hand in a simple storage box or mobile cart.  Aside from an adjustable desk lamp, keep the work area clean of everything else.

Room to Grow
