Seasonal Reminders

There is a lot to remember when caring for your home.  Below is a helpful list to remind you of some of the big things and when they should be done.

 

SPRING

 

 

    • Clean Gutter
    • Fertilize Lawn
    • Service A/C Unit
    • Check seals on doors and windows
    • Reopen winterized faucets

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUMMER

 

 

    • Change Air and Furnace Filters
    • Stain and Seal wooden decks, fences, etc. Be sure to check for and fill in any carpenter bee bore holes.
    • Clean siding, patios and driveway

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FALL

 

 

    • Clean Gutters
    • Replace Smoke Detector Batteries
    • Rake lawn and prune back plants
    • Inspect roof shingles, soffit, eaves and facia for any wood rot and repair as needed
    • Check and clean dryer vents, room fans and range hoods

 

 

 

 

 

 

WINTER

 

 

    • Winterize exterior water faucets
    • Clean chimney flue and fireplace
    • Check seals around doors and windows
